Nestled and nurtured at core of our heart,
Intricately entwined emotion pines for an alluring start,
The dream we've conceived has been turned into reality,
Blessed with children enriching our unique identity,
Kids grow fast emptying our nest, chasing their dreams,
Creating own world much beyond their parents' regime,
Their likes, dislikes, priorities evidently differ from ours,
Letting them live the way they like, sets the chord firmer,
Letting go of love one might have cossetted for years,
Redefining our expectations crossover emotional barriers,
Setting a boundary in any relationship never entail detachment,
